Sorry for the off-topic, but I know that there are a few other moto-heads
out there that might appreciate this: Jeff Ward to be inducted into the
Motorsports HOF:
For those (like me) who didn't really know who this guy was, he's one of
those rare, amazing, tallented-at-anything-he-tries type of guys. He's got
SEVEN national titles in Motocross and Supercross, and already in that Hall
of Fame. He then went on to an impressive Indy car career. His latest gig
(and honestly - this is why I'm posting - guys like this inspire me) has
been re-inventing himself at Supermoto: he's currently 45 years old and
leading the points series in 2006 over kids literally half of his age. He
started Supermoto in '03, and won the dang title in '04, and now he's on
course to maybe do it again this year. He'll be one of a small hand-full of
motorcycle racers inducted into the Motorsports HOF.
