NorCAMBA's annual Tahoe Rim Trail Epic Weekend Celebration still has room for a few more participants.
Fox has stepped up and is throwing down a major enticement for you to come. Please register and join us!

We are going to raffle off to some lucky winner your choice of a Fox Vanilla fork (retails for $490) or a Fox Float fork (retails for $600). This raffle is limited to people who come up and volunteer for the trailwork project on Saturday. We will raffle the fork off during dinner on Saturday night. You do not need to be present at dinner to win, but you do need to be present at the workday. We are limiting the workday to 35 participants, so check out these odds!
We have a great project planned for Saturday 8/19, building a causeway to raise the tread over a soggy area on the Tahoe Rim Trail so that we don't get bogged down in the mud. This project could really benefit from a large turnout, so I'm hoping to get some more people registered for the weekend. The weekend includes some great riding, camping, eating and hanging out. Details below:
Schedule:
Wednesday 8/16: MBOSC members arrive for long weekend. MBOSC is bringing 5 cases of Seabright Beer. You can join them, poach their beer, and do a ride, too.
Thursday: 8/17: A few more NorCAMBA members arrive. See Weds for details.
Friday 8/18: Patty and most of the rest arrive and set up camp. Friday night is a no-host do it yourself dinner.
Saturday 8/19 10:00AM (please be on time): Trailwork on the a section of the Tahoe Rim Trail west of Brockway summit. Meet at Brockway Summit on Highway 267 about 1/2 a mile northwest of the TRT trailhead: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=39.260599%C2%B0+-120.071617%C2%B0&ie=UTF8&om=1
3:00PM-ish: Ride on some choice singletrack in the immediate area, led by BONC president John Gardiner
6:30PM-ish: An enjoyable pizza and salad campsite dinner, party, Fox Fork raffle, and outdoors movie and slide show, presented by IMBA-rep Jim Haagen Smit.
Sunday 8/20 7:30AM-ish: NorCAMBA hosted blueberry pancake breakfast, Peet's coffee, and volunteer sandwich making happiness
10:00AM-ish: Choice of EPIC, Intermediate, or Easy rides on the Tahoe Rim Trail.
5:00PM-ish: break camp
Costs:
NorCAMBA is paying for the campgrounds, Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast and lunch. We will be accepting donations to offset the costs if you want to contribute.
Registration for the weekend is free, but required so we can make sure we have enough pancake batter, trail work tools, ride maps, and campsites. We look forward to seeing you there. You can register here: http://www.norcamba.org/epic_registration.htm
