Skating will be at 9pm this Tuesday, and 7 pm on Thursday. ALSO......skating Saturday mornings will be starting at 8am from now on, and at 8:30, as usual, on Sunday morning.............Cale
whoa, this guy is smokin. I like the part when he rips on past the motorcycle. The walls and concrete blocks on the side did not look inviting however. ----- Original Message ----- From: "deflf2002" <deflf@...> To: teamrainbo@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thursday, December 10, 2009 7:05:54 AM GMT -06:00 US/Canada Central Subject: [teamrainbo] whoops, try this one. time for more skates
Hi everyone! I have a few of things to let you know about.
1. I would like to encourage everyone to take advantage of the Sunday morning program. Tommy has put together a program that will give you a great work out, as well as improve your skating skills. If you really want to be a better skater, you won't do it just skating around the rink. An organized, coached, program is the best way to get better by pushing you out of your "comfort zone" and challenging yourself. It is the only way that you will get faster. Come on out and join us....you won't regret it......
2. If anyone is interested, I again have a supply of quality sterling silver and gold skating jewelry. I will be bringing it to practices with me, so if you have any interest, now is the time. Go ahead, buy yourself a Christmas present....you know you want to................
3. I also have a great supply of Rollerblade and K2 skates, at wholesale prices. I have kids, womens, and mens in various price ranges. Now is the best time to buy.
Thanks everyone, I hope that you are all having a wonderful holiday season, and that you can make it out to the Orbit to skate long, and skate strong............Cale
The sad part is that some people call that fun... Let's just hope he wasn't getting into a car. tm

Hi everyone! We will have an early practice this week on Thursday. This week at Orbit will be .....Tuesday at 9pm, and Thursday 6:30pm. Come on out and skate some circles with us.............Cale
Hi everyone.......We are back. What a great time we had. Great race and event in San Diego, wonderful trip to Hawaii, and now a great day of family and fun for Thanksgiving. It has been a good 2 weeks. I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone out there a Happy Thanksgiving and a wonderful upcoming Christmas season. The next skating at orbit will be Sat. morning. We will be there, and hopefully we will see many of you there to work off some of the overeating that will probably be done today..............Cale
You'll might have to contact the Orbit for the Quad practice information.
Our yahoo distribution emails is the best way to keep up to date on practice times and schedule. We typically send out an email at the beginning of the week with updated times. Our Team Rainbo website has 'general' practices times, but is not the best source for current, and up to the minute changes.
Definitely NO practice on Thanksgiving Evening.. And generally speaking, we usually do not have practices on Holidays.
Hope that helps.
Coach Tommy

As many of you know, Margo and I will be out of town next week, celebrating our 5th anniversary in beautiful Hawaii. Skating at the Orbit will be at 9pm on both Tuesday and Thursday. I know that you will all miss my music selections, so be sure that someone brings music. Have a good week skating, we will be thinking of you................NOT! :)...........Cale
Great news for those interested in competing indoors! Sandy ( the owner of orbit) has unofficially ok'ed orbit to have a speed team. Sooooo anybody that would be interested in competing keep an eye out for emails from me or any others concerning further details. I don't have a lot of info about this as i was just informed, but orbit is hosting an indoor meet in January (not sure of he date yet) so if u are intending on competing, now would be the time to start practicing for the competition. The team will consist of both inline and quad speed skaters, as far as practices go, I'm not sure how that will be handled, but quad skaters practice on Wednesday night from 9-10 or 10:30 and it is open to any skill level or age. It costs $5 per practice, and it is coached by a quad national champion. I'll try and keep updated on more details for everyone. Hope u are as excited as I am!!!

Low 50's, dry, that's warm enough for me to skate. Any takers at Sears for 11:00am Saturday and Sunday? I'm sure for tomorrow, Sunday iffy. Several of us out last weekend for a good skate. Does everybody just hang up their skates after Duluth or just scared of a little chill? In several weeks time you'll wish you'd taken advantage of the extended warm weather to skate outdoors!
