Thank you so much for all of your replies, they have really helped.I have found
that I do
need to just wake up a little bit more in the mornings first and put something
in my
stomach besides water before I go out. Now I just have to brave this very cold
weather! :)

Are you prone to acid stomach? If that's what I had before running I'd probably have massive heartburn! Perhaps toast and butter before running? Or an egg or...
