Hi Kelly,
What did you eat the night before? This could cause some issues once you get
going? Also, you ate or drank nothing else for breakfast before going out? I
would keep things simple the night before and try again. Could just be a bad
day? Did you feel fine as soon as stopped running and started walking? Did
you feel fine when back at home?
Thanks,
Robert

Subject: TP-Disney Feeling sick after my morning run-please help
So let me start out by saying that I am new to running, and am starting to
train now for the
disney 2010 marathon so that I can take it slow until I get into the groove
of things.Today
was my first morning run, I have only done two runs previously one at night
and one on the
treadmill only for about a mile each because well Im just starting :).
So this morning I had a few sips of diluted gatorade and a quarter of a
powerbar ,did a few
stretches and I was out the door to run.I was only about a quarter mile into
my run when the
cold air(it was about 30 degrees this morning) started to burn my throat and
I started to feel
sick to my stomach. But I figured it was just early and I was ok so then I
ran down a pretty
long hill but by the end of the hill (at about .4 miles here) I realllly
felt like I was going to
throw up so I started walking and completed my goal time of eighteen
minutes, even though
unfortunently it was almost all walking.Any ideas as to what happened here
and how I not
feel this way tomorrow morning?Thanks!
