Daria - thanks for the response. Yes this group is very quiet, must
be all the training going on. I will be doing the half again
in '09. My two sisters and I have made this an annual event since
2005 (we actually started the tradition in 2000 going to Kiawah,
South Carolina for that half and full marathon). We have all run the
full and the half with one sister going for her second Goofy 2009. I
haven't tried any of the other events that Disney puts on, Tower of
Terror, Expedition Everest, etc., but really look forward to getting
out of the northeast for a week of so in the middle of winter.
As for the post race event, we have gone to PI for the comedy clubs
and will miss that greatly. Although, that frees up an evening for
massage/pedicures without feeling rushed. The race information does
say that your registration fee gets you entry into a post-race
celebration. Guess we will be surprised along with everybody else!
