Hi Mark,
I have run Disney 5 times--the 1/2 twice, the full twice and the Goofy
once. 09 I will try to run Goofy again.Only once was it cold and that
was the year of Goofy. I liked it cold because i don't do well in hot
weather and when it's hot...... it's HOT.
My family doesn't come to the start because it is so early and it is
very hard to find your runner. They usually see me on that long out
and back on Osceola parkway and then head over to the finish line. I
have seen people chasing from spot to spot but they must know the
roads very well. I am thankful to see family that one time and then at
the finish.
I am registered for NYC....actually I have deferred the last 2 years
and am hoping to run it this year...that is if I don't have a broken
bone in my right foot. I see the orthopedist tomorrow and will take it
from there.
Good luck in your training---what else are you doing between now and
then?

Daria recovering from my local 15K where the break may have
happened..if not broken will run a 5 miler on Sat and 5K on Sunday
and another 5K 7/26.
