RE: TP-Disney I ran!

Great going Louise. It's finally starting to warm up here, so I want to get
back outside to run. Hard to believe I was training for Diz last December
in colder weather then this. But instead of 20's and 30's it's supposed to
be mid 40's this week. Much nicer. Onward to next January and the Goofy
Challenge. :-)

Subject: TP-Disney I ran!

I ran today! I ran today! Yea! I AM going to be ready for Goofy 2009....
.....no matter what.....and it starts NOW.

It was -6 when I headed out for my almost 2 mile walk to Curves this morning
2 miles back. I took the "long" way back, so I added another mile (just
under 5, total). It's an additional long straight stretch, that extra mile.
...............and I couldn't resist. I was over-dressed (really dressed
for the -6) but I couldn't hold it back. So, I ran. It wasn't far, it wasn
t fast, but I did run.

It felt great............even bundled up like an Eskimo..............looking
like the Michelin Man, I probably drew some chuckles from the cars passing
by. LOL!

I've been walking a lot (15-20 a week) and going to Curves at least 3 x a
week, but today was the first real running (albeit a little bit) I've done
since WDW. It has been a difficult winter to run in here, and it was great
to be able to feel sure footed enough to break into a run for a bit.

It has warmed up to about 20 degrees, blue sky, sunny, and calm. Beautiful.
Energizing.

Hope those of you in Ohio have been able to dig out...............

Louise

It is good to get outside and run again. Here where I live in Utah the weather is allowing me to run more days outside, and not on the indoor track. Running...
