It sounds as if Lani has found a good place to live. I remember
some years ago spending time at Camp Parks just outside of Dublin.
At the risk of incurring boos and jeers I shall give a brief
report on the Half Marathon I ran on 2 April 05.
My wife and I went to Columbus, Ohio to visit our daughter and
so I could run the Capital City Half Marathon. It is put on by John
Bingham Racing. This Half Marathon was the wet, snowy, and windy.
The temp. was in the 30s the entire run, with blowing snow at some
point, but with snow throughout the race. When I finished my running
gear was wet through to the skin. It is amazing how heavy shoes and
socks can get with water weight.
The folks who took the race photos did an excellent job. Maybe
Disney should hire them.
Overall it was a well organized race.
One last observation, if any of you happen to go to Columbus
have a meal at Schmidts. The food is wonderful.
