Hey everybody! Just wanted to let you know that we're having
October's team meeting tonight at Ron Contreras' building, 13105 NW
Freeway, at 6:30pm. Drinks and snacks will be provided, of course.
See you there!
OK. I have not signed up but call me! 832-486-5403.
I want to ride. Will be fun!

Start your day with Yahoo! - Make it your home page!

Tonight's the team meeting for August. It's at the usual place -
13105 Northwest Freeway, 1st floor conf. room. Starts at 6:30pm, and
drinks and snacks will be provided! See you there.
Houston Party tentatively scheduled for June 23rd.
I will let everyone know the exact location and time. Be sure to check
back or check the "Chapters" page.
www.teamcure.org/chapters.htm
We will meet at the Party for our montly meeting.
See you there!
Just a quick note on two things:
Your MS 150 donations are due today if you have enough to qualify for
one of the prize levels. The Lone Star Chapter MS Society offices are
at N. Stadium Drive and LaConcha, next to the Astrodome and Reliant
Palace: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?
searchtype=address&country=US&addtohistory=&searchtab=home&address=+8111
+N.+Stadium+Drive&city=Houston&state=TX&zipcode=77054
The Team CURE May meeting is this Thursday (that's day after tomorrow),
at the normal place - the first floor conference room of the Solar
Turbine Building, 13105 Northwest Freeway:
http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?
formtype=address&searchtype=address&country=US&addtohistory=&1ahXX=&addr
ess=13105+Northwest+Freeway&city=Houston&state=TX&zipcode=
The building is actually a little southwest of where Mapquest puts its
star, so just look for "Solar Turbine" on the side of the building.
We'll have some snacks and drinks available at the meeting, so you
won't go hungry. Bring your MS 150 and Shiner BASH stories. See you
there!
I'm in! Who else? I was going to sign up online, but then I saw that
you can register your team too. There's a bunch of em up there
already! So, I need a head count to go ahead and register us, and
set a FUND-RAISING GOAL. The ride supports the American Lung
Association this year, in which I have a vested interest - I've got
allergies and mild asthma. Help me raise some $$ so they can find
better treatments or a cure for this stuff. I'd bet there are a few
of you that are feeling it down in your lungs now that the trees are
blooming.
So who's in? Go to www.shinerbash.com and sign up. Sign up online if
you can. It's not subject to the $5 price increase that goes into
effect tomorrow (for snail mail entries).
More later!

Hi - I just wanted to introduce myself. I am fairly new to cycling,
and stumbled upon the Team CURE's website quite by accident, but
quickly became intrigued. I live in Houston, and would love to
opportunity to contribute to your team. Does anyone have any
information on how to join? Where to go, who to talk to? Thanks so
much!
Hello,
I'm organizing a bike tour in Austria from May 26 to June 5 2005.
Would like to ask if anybody is interested to attend. For more
information please contact me or visit
www.meteortravel.com/threecountry.htm
Wish u all a pleasant cycling.
Markus
It's only FIVE DAYS til the MS 150! We're having a final team
meeting before the ride this Wednesday night at the usual place -
13105 NW Fwy (the Siemens Building), first floor conference room.
Starts at 6:30p. Drinks, chips and dips will be provided. See you
there!
Mike
The Tour de Cypress is this weekend, folks! We're a sponsor of this
one, so we need a good team showing. Come on out, and wear your
jersey. It starts at Rhodes Stadium this year, instead of Cy
Springs High School as in the past. The long ride (84 mi.) starts
at 7:15am. Meet up at Ron's truck; look for the Team CURE banner
above it. See you there!
Sounds interesting. Let me know more about the
details.

I am chairing a charity bike ride through Connecticut on Memorial Day
weekend to send children with Leukemia to camp and we are looking for
riders. If anyone is interested, please email me at
mimipss@.... Come join the fun while helping a child get his
wish.
I'll be out there at the Humble Lions Club Ride on Saturday! My foot
should be healed up enough, and I'll have my road bike back (the rear
shifter died). Also, I talked to Sarah Bucciero, and she said she
most likely will be out there. And that's after a 100+ deg fever
last night! Rock on!
