Dear Team Alameda Members,
Today, November 10, 2008....I am sending out via "snail mail" ballots for the vacant Member-at-Large position on the Board of Directors. The ballots are going out to all active Team Alameda members as of November 9 so if you do not receive a ballot, please check your membership status under the "Members" link on this site. I tried to contact those who had their membership lapse in recent days but did not go back to those whose membership expired more than 30 days ago.
In order to conserve the resources of our planet, I have enclosed multiple ballots for families with more than one team member in a single envelope. The ballots themselves have been printed on postcards which require, at minimum, a $0.27 stamp (or put multiple ballots in an envelope and mail for $0.42). The ballots must be returned to our Secretary, Zoraida McNulty, by the end of the day next Monday, November 17, 2008 so that the results can be announced prior to the next Board meeting.
A small number of members will be receiving their insurance waivers and membership cards enclosed with the eletion ballot. The insurance waivers must be completed, SIGNED, and returned to me in the envelope provided. If you have any questions, please contact me at "memberservice@..." or via Personal Messenger.
Remember to send back your ballot ASAP and make your vote count!!
