My first race, I went to the workshop this spring, it helped a lot.
Things that went on weren't such a surprise. Was pretty apprehensive
about the swim but made decent enough time. The bike leg was fun as
that is my background, so it was fun to have something I'm comfortable
with in the middle, Made excellent time on the bike. I had a goal of
2 hours. made it in 1:59:57. forgot to take my helmet off after
biking, so had to run with it, didn't want to get DQ for equipment
abandonment, looked like a dork, but that's racing.
