Hi Rich,
Thanks for the info! I completely understand having a busy life. I have a FT job but am working on establishing my new career in real estate so top that TNT training and I'm full! :) Ingrid is an incredible coach and my hopes is to mentor with her team next year for Lifetime.
There is another friend of mine from TNT that I think would be interested in joining the TC Tri Club so I'll give her the info. I'll keep an eye on the boards and hope to meet you and the other members sometime soon! I see some people are doing the Blaine 8K. I really want to do that one but have a concert the night before so it would be a short sleep night for me so I'm still contemplating that one :)

Subject: Re: [tctri] New Membership information
Kris,
I think I did get the message -- sorry about not getting back to you. Between work, kids, and the start of the racing season, things are really crazy lately, and unfortunately, my response to you feel through the cracks.
The club has become really informal. All you need to do to be a member is to join the mailing list (which I believe you just did). No forms, no fees, no fuss. With that reduced formality, comes a less structured experience (unfortunately, as of right now, that's more of a warning than an announcement). All club activities are coordinated through the mailing list -- looking for a training partner, put out a message. Have a workout planned for which you want a group, put out a message. See someone planning something you'd like to attend, reply to their message. Technical or training question -- you guessed it, post a message. This makes volume and level of participation very much driven by the membership. There are flurries where things are pretty active, and periods where things decline.
As far as more significant club events, Dan Hauck, one of the club founders, is running an 8K in Blaine near 4th of July weekend. I expect there to be a number of members there helping out, but Dan would have the exact count. The other major club event is our spring camp for new triathletes, which was in May. As something which is already past, it wouldn't help you much right now. I imagine with the benefit of Ingrid's coaching through TNT, you're pretty well prepared.
Sorry I don't have more to offer you right now. I'm happy to answer any questions you have, and if you have suggestions on what you'd like to see, I'm happy to hear them as well.
Rich

I sent an email awhile back to the gmail account requesting information
about joining the TC Tri Club. It might have gotten bounced from my
email if you tried to respond. I got your name from Ingrid Melander,
she's my TNT coach. I would love to get information about joining the
club! Please contact me :)
