I just got a press release from the folks who run the High Cliff Tri, on Lake Winnebago in eastern WI.  Dick Hoyt will be attending, presenting, & speaking at the High Cliff Tri the weekend of June 23 this year. 

High Cliff is a nice race (I did it during its first year) offering a 1/2IM an sprint distance event.  They’re very good at bringing in high profile Triathlon personalities to speak the night before the race.  It’s a nice opportunity to get to hear one of the iconic figures in the sport.  If, for some reason, you’re involved in triathlon and don’t know who Dick (and his son Rick) Hoyt are, you should.  They’re two of the people that make tri such a great place to be.  Check them out at http://www.teamhoyt.com/
