Having problems with message search?
What: a STUPID (Salem Trail Utterly Pointless & Insane Day) ride. Offroad Century (or as far as you can ride in a day).
Cost: Zero, zilch, nada, nichts, unless you want a "I'm with STUPID, the Ride" T shirt.
When: October 7, 6:30am until 100 miles are done - bring lights in case it takes you until after dark
Where: Harmon Park (f/k/a Salem Hills) Inver Grove Heights, where Erik's Spring Cup was held this year.
How: willpower, determination and a considerable amount of stupidity
Why: Because no-one has ever done it
Awards: None, other than the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction of riding in circles for 10 hours.
Stats: Course length is 4.6 miles, meaning you'll need to complete 22 laps for a century. Lap
times should be between 20 and 30 minutes. This is an easy, non-technical course, so even wimpy roadies (no offense intended) can do it.
