I used it in my buildup to and the (failed on the run) attempt at my first 1/2 IM last season, so I had a couple of long rides in the 60-70 mile range and several in the 35-50.  I have to say, there are times where it's just not comfortable having anything poke you quite so personally, but, at least for my backside, the profile saddle is the best I've found.

neighborhood of $80 (last year's dollars).  I know my backside was worth
it, though.
