TAMPA – The five-time world champion Tampa Bay Storm has signed wide
receiver/linebacker David Saunders, Head Coach and General Manger Tim
Marcum announced today.
"David is a guy we feel very comfortable with in how he fits into our
offensive scheme," said Marcum. "He has good size for a receiver and
has a knack for coming up with big plays. David also had a large
role in us winning the 2003 Championship, we are glad to have him
back."
Saunders, 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, returns to Tampa Bay after spending
the 2006-07 seasons with the Columbus Destroyers. He finished the

WR/LB for New Jersey. Saunders also spent part of the 2005 AFL season
with the Grand Rapids Rampage.

school records for career receptions (199), career receiving yards
