I think it works for everyone.  NBC has the NFL now, but the AFL has a chance to move on to an even bigger and better deal for them, which I believe is the only reason they wouldn't have come to some kind of agreement.

Seriously... are we really surprised by this? NBC got the NFL back
so seeeya AFL. Personally, NBC had a great way to promote the AFL
during the NFL games. They should have tried one more year.
