Re: [taichi_phil] Re: Ilocos Norte is a nice place for Tai Chi practitioners

That's the wonder of this art and what separates it from sports.  One may feel good after a workout such as jogging or weight training, but it is all external and short lived (not to mention having to deal with sore muscles and aching joints).  But with  Tai Chi Chuan, because the mind is 100% involved in seeking the natural, one feels good inside as well as outside!

I agree with the statements made below by kaze_jin14. One uses their own internal Qi to
create Jing when in combat. But for the sake of practicing, and the cultivation of Qi, I
believe it is best to feel the Qi that is cultivated from natural setting, and not from a urban
setting. Just as in Feng Shui, Qi can take on many elements, both positive and detrimental
for the human body. But Qi is neither good nor bad. It just is. As nature intended it to
be. It would be like calling a shark "evil" for taking a bite out of a surfer. The shark is
neither evil nor good, it just does what it does naturally. Ahh...I love this sharing of our
beliefs of Qi! It's so nice to chat with like minded people! :)
