Luneta Tai Chi Club

Good morning to all!
Luneta or Rizal Park, particularly the back of the Quirino grandstand, is a traditional spot for tai chi and qi gong practitioners. One group, the Luneta Tai Chi Club, is most visible and attractive because the members come in red upperwear uniform. Most of them are senior Chinese Filipinos. Starting at 6:30AM, they do tai chi in bare hands, or with fan or with sword, to the tune of a graceful and slow tai chi music. (See attached pictures. They're rather small though.)
Doves often times would fly over them, close to their raised hands.
Last Sunday, I made the bold attempt of joining the group to follow them in doing the 42 form. But after the first few movements, I ended up simply watching them. After the session, a lady and I approached one member and asked if he could teach us the form. He agreed, and hopefully we'll start next Sunday.
If you're interested, you may wish to join us.
By the way, have you visited the home page recently? I updated it and stuffed the Links page, where you will access good-- and I guess the best-- videos, photos and instruction guides on various tai chi forms. The Links page is organized as follows:
A. 24 Yang Form
B. 37 Form
C. Yang Long Form
D. Other Forms
E. Best Blogs on Tai Chi
If you have suggestions on how to enhance the group's page, please let me know.
Good day!
