The clubs and regions of Chicago, South Bend, Indianapolis and
Michigan are pleased to announce the formation of a Lake Michigan
Subbuteo Circuit.

Its goal is to help promote the game in each of the four regions,
which are no more than four hours' drive apart from each other.

Each club or region will host three ASA-ranked tournaments per year,
in strict rotation through the season.

Month City
LMSC Rotation
September Indianapolis
October South Bend
November Michigan
December Chicago
January Indianapolis
February South Bend
March Michigan
April Chicago
May Indianapolis
June South Bend
July Michigan
August Chicago

A club can waive hosting a tournament a particular month if they
need to. The plan is to provide a regular schedule of events in the
Lake Michigan region for players to plan on. Each player is
encouraged to attend one of the road trips each season.

Team play will be encouraged! If one team can be taken from each
club to each of the road trips, the teams will have completed a 6-
game schedule throughout the season. Team results will be recognised
in a LMSC table.

There will also be a LMSC individual ranking, the details of which
are yet to be decided.

Players from surrounding areas (Minneapolis, St Louis, Pittsburgh,
Toronto, etc.) or even further afield are encouraged to join us at
any of these events.

The clubs are working on their schedules for the season and a joint
schedule of all tournaments will be released later this summer.

Play in all the standard FISTF individual categories will be
encouraged:

The categories (with their 2005/06 qualifying dates) are:

M = Mini / Under 12 (born in or after 1994)
J = Junior / Under 15 (born in or after 1991)
Y = Youth / Under 19 (born in or after 1987)
V = Veterans (born before Sep.1st 1966)
L = Ladies
Open
A player may compete in any of the categories to which they belong.
For example, a 14-year-old girl can play in any of the categories
except Veteran and Under-12.
