I am watching a 1st round FA cup match from CHASETOWN! There are no
more than 2,000 fans there. Because of the many microphones around
the pitch and the volume levels that they are left at, it sounds like
there are 50,000 fans there. You can hear more crowd excitement than
when there are 70,000 fans in Dortmund all singing. Why? Sound
levels and the use of crown noise. Brilliant! I wish the rest of the
world would wake up to what the Brits are doing. It would make soccer
more exciting for viewers around the world.

Hey! Why don't we use this effect for Subbuteo vid's? We can use
canned crowd noise!
