Michigan Cup III will take place this year over the weekend of
October 22nd and 23rd.

This event will most probably again take place in the Detroit
suburbs at the excellent Van Buren Township Hall in Belleville.

Competitions:

Saturday 22nd:

Michigan Cup - ASA Individual Open
Format: Large groups then KO
2003: Scott Aldridge (Ontario)
2004: Chris Buttigieg (Ontario)

Sunday 23rd:

Michigan Shield - ? ASA Team Open ?
Format: Group[s] then KO

Motown Classic - ASA Individual Open
Format: FISTF (Small groups then KO)
2004: Chris Buttigieg (Ontario)

It would be fantastic to see the team format take off in the US.
Let's see if we can get some bodies together for this event!

I urge every club to try to host one team tournament this coming
season.

We have the potential of 3 or 4 teams in Detroit with the nearby
players in Toronto, St Louis and our own. What about it, DC guys?
