Recently, FISTF President Vincent Coppenolle wondered about whether or not any Subbuteo players existed in "exotic" places in the U.S.

It is clear that they do, as the player list below shows -> 2 players from Iowa!!

The 2002 Chicago Classic was held on Saturday October 12th in Chicago,
Illinois and the results are in. This was the first American tournament
of the year and it was a great one.  It was Minnesotan Zach Walker
winning the tournament with a 6-0 victory over Erik Haefke from
Illinois. The tournament was held in the middle of a soccer store and a
total of 6 players attended with three states represented. Thanks to
everyone who attended!
