Hello Track Coaches, Athletes, Parents, & Spectators,
I would like to take the time to tell you about a new California
Track and Field Meet which is sweeping the field by storm. The
Percy Knox Invitational Track Meet is one of the fastest growing
Track and Field Meets to hit California in quite sometime. With over
sixty teams that already pledged to attend this 2007 meet, it is
sure to reach their goal of one hundred and twenty teams by track
season. A few of the highlights that makes this Track Meet different
from any other of its kind; (1) They give out 10" & 12" trophies to
the top three runners in each heat. (2) Low entry fees. (3) More
open events and relays than most meets (4) allowed to trade entry
spots with other schools (5) They are non-profit, and they give part
of the proceeds to various hosts schools to help their track
programs.(6) Able to enter frosh soph, and small or large schools,
because entries are seeded by times. (7) No qualifying marks. With
top schools like J.W. North., Rancho Cucamonga, Skyline, Dominguez,
Diamond Ranch, and Rancho Verde checking in, this is sure to be one
of the top meets of the 2007 season. Please visit the website;
www.percyknox.com and see for yourself that this is sure to be an
early season meet that you wouldn't want to miss. The meet looks
like its going to be held at College of the Canyons on March 17th
2007.
