. . . take 4.80 m pole vault for a woman. I can see both Yelena
Isinbayeva (RUS), and Anna Rogowska (POL) jumping well over 4.80 m
within next month, and making attempts at 5.00 meters during the world
championships. I can see Stacy Dragila (USA) making a come back.
Rogowska's PB is only 4.76 meters as of last weekend, but she has
jumped over 4.70 m over half-a-dozen times, and on her last attempt at
4.86 meters, she was very close. She herself believes that very soon
she should become as consistent pole vaulting over 4.80 meters as she
has been pole vaulting over 4.70 meters.
I believe that the medallists will pole vault:
GOLD - 4.99 m or better - Yelena Isinbayeva (RUS)
SILVER - 4.88 or better - Anna Rogowska (POL)
BRONZE - 4.80 or better - Monika Pyrek (POL)
IV--th place 4.80 or better - Stacy Dragila.

Qualifies: Rozanska (POL).
