200 m Indoor Re--introduction Proposition:

Please Do The Same for the 200 m Indoors: dekolak

Please support one of these two options:
1. OPTION ONE:
A)
Replace 200 m race with a 300 m race run like the 400 m race --
breaking for the inside after the initial 100 meters;
B)
Replace 200 m race with 150 m race.
2. OPTION TWO:
2.1 Make the particpation by invitation.
2.2 The invitation should be based on sum of the three best times
achieved by the dasher within the last 21 months. Two of the races
(2 of 3) must have been run within the last 3 months before the
competition. In the case of a tie, the PB should serve as a tie
breaker.
2.3 ONLY 28 top dashers should be acceptted. 28 dashers shall run
two heats each. In each heat a dasher should run against totaly
different runners based on lottery. In each heat there should be
only four dashers. Each runner should run from "mirror lane." Let
say that a dasher in the first heat ran in lane 3; in his or her
second heat, he or she should run from lane 6 or vice vers; the same
should apply to a dasher who ran from lane 5; he or she should run
from lane 4 in the next heat or vice versa.
This would lead to as many as 14--teen heats. It may be a problem,
but does not have to be, if you compare it with the old system.
This would make dashers run their best.
2.4 'Top Twelve Dashers', based on the sum of both times (the higher
InvitationRanking should break the ties), should advance to the
semifinal heats. They should be seeded based on the sum of the times
(the same tie breaker as before). The runners should be placed in
the semifinal heats in the following manner based on the sum of
times: 6 5 4 3 -- Lanes
Heat A: 1 6 7 12
HEAT B: 2 5 8 11
HEAT C: 3 4 9 10
NOTA BENE:
heats total so far is 17--teen.
The fastest six runners should advance.
2.5
Final:
The dashers should get their lanes based on their times from the
semifinal.
