Hi Michael
Thank you for a very useful site.
I have an interest in the long and triple jumps and would like to bring the
following to your notice regarding Australian and Oceania womens' records:
* Australian long jump record increased to 6.88, Bronwyn Thompson AUS
Brisbane September 7, 2001.
This is not yet shown on the Athletics Australia (AA) home page but the
record, set during the Goodwill Games, is in AA 2002 Season Guide
incorporating 51st Year of Results and Records.
But see

* Thompson increased this to 7.00 Melbourne March 7, 2002 (which is also a
Commonwealth record).
