Thanks for that, Sharon. Great idea for solo work - I remember Vlad
demonstrating solo with a chain and telling us how important it is
to be relaxed to avoid injury - he laughed as he said that 'you
cannot be tense,' because the chain is so unforgiving to a rigid
structure.
BTW I have been so busy with graduate school, I haven't had time to
write much about Systema - I guess the longtime subscribers to this
group are familiar with my academic schedule. School ends on May 12
and after that, I hope to catch up with some past Systema events - a
guest teacher, Brian Beauchamp, at Fighthouse, my own experience
teaching Systema to college students, a seminar with Martin Wheeler
on Long Island, and Martin's illuminating 'police work' class.
