To all those who have responded thanks. Lawnton would be the most popular so far given that we were all happy going there before. I agree with Van re getting confirmation first as there is an obligation re costs – if a hall is hired then we all need to make the effort. Monday at Lawnton from say 6:00 or 6:30 sounds good – how about others?
Aaron can you reply with details etc of yours too?
Jake – it may be BYO mats – yes we’re all softies but I expect at some point we may find hall floors far more forgiving than concrete or asphalt which is more likely to be where it happens.
Hope to hear from all of you soon

Re: Brisbane training
Hi Guys,
I vote for the Lawnton location Monday night or Wednesday night at another location.. Would like to get started around 6.30 though so we can go for 1.30-2hr!! I haven't got time to ring around at the moment so thanks Stuart for doing the hard work.. I wouldn't mind training occassional Sundays either just to get in more practice. I think we should probably ask for a show o hands from everyone and their preferences as we want to make sure that the hall hire doesn't end up causing an arm and a leg in the end with only a couple of blokes turning up.
Please keep me posted..
Cheers,
Van

Hey Champs,
I am keen for training in th e Brisbane City area. I live on the Southside so anything down their is great. I can go anywhere that the good ol' public transport system takes me though.
Have been doing training on Sundays with Azza at Morayfield, its a bit of a hike but well worth the effort just for those good few hours of decent CNCTEMA training each week. Keen for some more stuff in the weeknights though.
Keep in touch, count me in! I dont mind paying but free is always better, my limit is prob $5 for 2hours, maybe $7 for 3, but I dont really want to be paying anything. Peoples houses (like Aaron's), Parks, Carparks, or anywhere you want to get together is neat. Dont believe we need a dojo, just a get-together spot to do some training. I personally have had Roma St Parklands in my head. Its damn smack bang in the middle of everything, free, soft-grass and open air.
Cheers,
P.S. Everyone remember to keep up their DVD watching whilst their is a lull in training facilities ;)

Long time no see. Although i have not been to the classes lately, i have kept up the training, most Tuesday nights and every Sunday afternoon at my place at Morayfield. I usually have four people including myself.
Anyone is welcome.. no mats.. large training area.. currently no cost!
I would be up for a North side training session to help you guys out. I know Morayfield/Caboolture is a bit out of the way for some.
I will be continuing my sessions at Morayfield, and try to get some new people to try systema.

Cabool ture would be a bit to far North for me...so thats out for me.
But Mondays and Wednesday evenings are generally OK by me and the
occasional weekend idea- also sounds good too.
Also do the places that Stuart looked into have mats (yes, I know
I am a softy)?
Cheers
Jake
