Despite the threat of rain I think the Sydney Tandems were well represented
this past weekend at the Dungog Pedalfest with Ken, Chris, Malcolm and Roger
plus the Houghtons all in attendance along with stokers and hangers on.
Then there was all those other full and half bikes around as well which
meant there was plenty of wheels on the street.

Both Saturday and Sunday were just about rain free; I don't think anyone got
wet whilst riding which is the main thing. Countryside was superb and
considerably better than APEC fenced jungle that us Sydneysiders left
behind.

Good to see the older stokers now taking to their own set of wheels,
although that of course means we get now have to teach the next stoker about
the joys of Tandem riding. That was the longest ride I'd done with my
daughter; goodness she can talk!

Prize goes to Ken for managing to bring more bikes than he had people, plus
the caravan. Somehow it all went on. Special mention goes to Chris who
turned up minus ONE pedal. Luckily Roger was able to source a spare but
then I don't think the bike it was put on was used the entire weekend anyway
was it? :-)

Great to catch-up with all. We must do it again sometime.
