OK, so it rained in 2006....the first time EVER on a PedalFest
weekend! The organizers have 'had words' in the appropriate quarters
and we are assured it won't happen again.......

So, what is Dungog Pedalfest and why should you come and have a great
time with us in Dungog?

Dungog Pedalfest is a celebration of cycling and sociability in the
beautiful Williams Valley. Pedalfest happens every year over the
second weekend in September and is a major fund-raising event for the
Westpac Rescue Helicopter - a cause well worth pedalling for!
Events over the weekend include guided tours through the history of
the valley, music, dancing and food at the nearby Bandon Grove School
Of Arts, a special film night at the historic Dungog Picture Theatre,
local markets - and of course for those who ride a bicycle there's a
grand assortment of cycling activities for all ages and abilities.
This year the refreshments have expanded from the ever popular
muffins to include other delights on some of the rides!
