Hi all

We did go for a ride to Balmoral. The Krix’s came along on their Moultonesque tandem as did another friend on a single. We did come across another tandem at Balmoral that had been ridden by a father and daughter team for a coffee. We rode via back streets with out much traffic and had a great time.

Ended up back at our place for lunch and some more friends joined us there.  Marian did take a couple of pics that I was going to post on the site but I haven’t managed to get hold of her camera to do this yet.

We are going to do the Woodford to Glenbrook Careflight fundraiser ride on the 25^th of June which should be interesting on the tandem.

I’ve been working around the clock lately and have hardly ridden at all. I have bought some new HID headlights for the tandem for when we commute. They are from trailtech and the one that mounts on the handlebars is 30watts and I’ve put the 13watt 6degree spot on the helmet. Turns night into day.

We put them to good use on the way home from the beer Fest at King Street Wharf last Sunday.

We also entered the Queensland bike ride that is on in September.

I’ve just sent the order for a load of parts from Tandems East so everything should be here in 10 days or so.
