Hi everyone,
I've uploaded some bit of info on the 'West Coast Ride'. You can access this file on the swctrydz yahoogoup.
Please be informed that a small group of riders at this ride are there as part of their training programme. These riders train for competitive sports\events which include the cycling discipine, eg. triathlon, mtb (cross-country) cycling race, etc.
Therefore, non-competitve riders are advised to form their own group at the start of the ride to avoid the rubber band effect and prevent any unforseen incidents (accidents).
Riding in a bunch requires everyone to pay attention. If you want\have to leave the group during the ride, as you may realise that it is too fast or too slow for your taste, please inform someone else in the group so nobody waits, or so someone will wait for you.
Think of the group you are with, if you are at the front approaching traffic lights and the roundabouts.
Safety brings you home.
Warmest Regards,
Noor
