Photo opportunity – Get some great surfing shots at Morro Rock Saturday 07 Nov 2009… John C. Lindsey says a big early winter swell is forecast to peak on Saturday afternoon at 12 to 14 feet (with an 16-18 second period), decreasing to 11 to 13 feet on Saturday night. Bring the longest lens you have. 300mm-600mm range is best.  I currently plan to be there from about 9 AM to ~11:30 AM, positioned as close to the Duke outfall (far west end of the parking lot) as possible.
