Remeber this end of the year handicapping tip folks....
Three year olds are often cut drastically in price this last week of
the season not because of health issues but because they will have
to face older tougher claimers & they will need to drop in asking
price most of the time to do that. Plus barns are trying to slim
their numbers down in anticipation of the arriving two year olds
next season &/or get money for their owners to be able to pay off
their credit card debt from the silly season we are now hip deep in
(contrary to popular belief not all owners are extremely wealthy &
that is especially true @ the samller tracks). So do not just toss
out a horse dropping massively in class between now & January 1, it
maybe the trainer is just trying to score a purse for an owner, even
@ the expense of losing his horse!
