Hi all-
I am Katelyn and I am a member of the MRA in Colorado. It is a
roadracing organization. I am doing a documentary and portfolio for a
class, and I need some motorcycle racers to help me finish it. Since
most of you are probably not located in Colorado, it will just be over
the email. The questions take you about 10 minutes to complete, and
after that I promise to never bug you again!
Thanks so much,
Katelyn

Rossi - now things are getting serious
The news that Valentino Rossi is to test for Ferrari next week in
Valencia is a clear indication that Ferrari is getting serious about
the idea of running the high-profile motorcycle racer in Formula 1
in the future. Rossi has clearly shown some pace in the tests as
well because otherwise Ferrari would not be wasting time and energy
at a critical time of the year when there is much work to be done.
More importantly the test marks Rossi's first attempt to run F1 on
an international track with other cars about which indicates that
the testing programme is broadening to give him experience in
different environments.
And let us not forget that all of this is being done at a time when
Rossi is a Gauloises-sponsored motorcycle racer which can only mean
that there are clauses in the contracts with Yamaha which allow him
to go off to test for a Marlboro-sponsored team.
On top of all of this let us not forget that Ferrari is being linked
heavily with the Italian broadband company Alice, which has had a
close association with Rossi and has used him heavily in its
advertising campaigns. However things have changed in recent days
with Rossi signing a one-year promotional deal with rival company
Fastweb.
Rossi will test an F2004 rather than the new Ferrari 248 F1.

I don't know if you remember Dave K from around here, but he got a gig as a

I don't do babydoll t's either. Lets face it, those were made for the waif
girls who look like 12 year olds. I ride motorcycles and use my arms. I have
biceps. Babydoll t's do not fit biceps. I could use some t-shirts though. I
like the XL variety. Then my husband and I can both wear them and I can
sleep in them in the summer.

Don't you just want to adopt him?
I'm just not a babydoll kind of girl, but I'd take a couple of
t-shirts in reasonable sizes. I only use my HUGE t-shirts when I'm
working out in the creepy-factor gym. Otherwise I have to tie it to
keep it out of may way, which is a pain. My boyfriend needs a couple
as well, but he's a medium, and they seem to FLY out the door.

Helmet Laws
I am a firm believer in wearing a helmet. I have an even stronger
belief that the government has no right to require me to wear one. I
despise that the government spends so much time trying to be my mother
and protect me form myself.
This petition is being circulated both online and hard copy by
motorcyclists around California.
This link is for residents of California
http://www.petitiononline.com/SB969CA/petition.html
This link is for non-residents of California
http://www.petitiononline.com/SB969US/petition.html
The first few lines from the resident petition:
The mandatory helmet requirement for all riders was originally passed
in 1991 by only a single vote. Before it was actually signed into law
by Governor Pete Wilson, a front page article in the San Jose Mercury
News exposed the fact that Assemblyman Dick Floyd, author of the bill,
had lied to his fellow legislators by claiming medical cost savings
that were fraudulent. The Governor chose to sign the legislation into
law rather than send it back for further debate. After the fraud was
exposed, Dick Floyd was never censured or prosecuted for his actions,
though his constituents did vote him out of office in the next election.
Before the mandatory helmet law went into effect in 1992 the fatality
rate per 100 accidents was 3.22. Today, with virtually 100%
compliance, the fatality rate is 3.84. If helmets were effective in
reducing fatalities and injuries this rate would be markedly lower
instead of slightly higher. No matter how you slice it, mandatory
helmet use has proven ineffective in saving lives.
The first few lines from the non-resident petition:
To: The California State Assembly, California State Senate and
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger
I am a motorcycle rider from out of state and have recently heard
there is a possibility that California will modify it's helmet law
with SB 969. (Ducheny, Morrow)
I would certainly look forward to this modification so that I could
enjoy riding California's beautiful roads. During these visits, I
would be patronizing your gas stations, restaurants, motels, hotels
and other businesses. There are hundreds of thousands of registered
motorcycles in the states that border California and the draw to spend
vacation dollars in a free state is a strong one. California
especially would draw riders from all across the United States being
the spectacular destination it is.

Well I have been investing in property for a few years now and I currently own 2
investment houses, but recently when looking to get some equity out of my
current home I discovered an awesome mortgage broker, their site is;
http://www.fourpercentflat.info/yaiqk
Basically unlike regular banks these guys are totally independent and you enter
in your details and they find out the absolute best deal for you. You can even
enquire about refinancing your current mortgage through these guys, or simply
taking out your first ever loan. So honestly, if you're into property check them
out, working awesome for me!

On September 3, 2005, we are having a photo shoot, to kick-off the
clothing line called Rydergear. This product will focus on the
motorcycle community, its styles, and trends. What I need is for you to
send this flyer to all your SCSR members to help get the word out about
this photo shoot. The flyer pretty much says it all, but this is what I
need.
1. Beautiful Ladies with hard nice bodies.
2. Hot Sport Bikes
3. Hot Harley Bikes
If individuals are interested, they have to register on the website,
fill out the application, and submit photos of themselves and/or their
motorcycles. Both motorcycles and models are chosen next week. This is
not a paying gig, for the models or motorcycle owners. The photo shoot
will be held in Simi Valley.
If anyone has questions about this project, they can send an e-mail to
info@...
Velo, use chill@...
<http://us.f335.mail.yahoo.com/ym/Compose?To=chill@rydergear.com> as the
e-mail address for the SCSR membership.
I want in the e-mail this text:
"Calling All Hot Body Beautiful Models, Hot Street & Harley Motorcycles"
This is your chance to be a part of the First Rydergear photo shoot, for
our new clothing. By participating in this photo shoot, your face, or
motorcycle will be part of the new rydergear website, advertisement
flyers, brochures, banners, and even a possible commercial on the Burn 3

involved, you have to register yourself and/or your motorcycle. To do
so, just visit www.rydergear.com <http://www.rydergear.com/>, fill out
the application, and send us some of your hottest photos of yourself or
your motorcycle.
In order for you to be considered, you must have photos of yourself or
your motorcycle. For models, we need full body shots, as well as
close-ups. For motorcycles, we need front and side shots of your bike
during the daytime.
Participants will be selected on August 10, 2005. So if you are
interested, please visit the website today...
