Rumor that I got is that MOTOGP will be here in 2006. They need to
do 3.5 million of modifications to the track. World superbike will
leave with a one year contract. As for crashing parties, It was a
bit disorganized. They (Ann Asiano?) passed out flyers for a club
called Octane but it was dead at 10pm. So we (AMA group of
Schwantz, Spies, etc and Toselands people) migrated to the Blue
Fin. Haga, Chili's crew, and other racer people showed up. Then I
got info that Club Octane filled up so I went from one end of the
bar to the other writing down directions for anyone who could
drive. Ended up driving Noriyuki Haga and his people to the club
using their car! After getting Nori in the club (no ID again),
Disalvo and I went down the street because it was to packed to
order. Anyway, to make a long story short....a good time was had by
all. This was NOT an invitation only party so we need to get
organized next time! BTW happy birthday Tom Pinky.
