SSHA Members,
Just a reminder that the Summer Sizzler Breed classes July 7th have a
closing date of June 23rd. I hope you have all sent in your entries or
plan to soon. If you would like a business size card blurb for your
farm please send an extra $25 and tell them what it is for. I will be
contacting those of you that said you'd help and would appreciate
anyone else that is willing to help contacting me!
Sandy Werner is having a PARTY Saturday the 23rd of June and would
love to have any of you that can make it to attend. It starts at 6pm
and there will be lots of food,good company, a live band, and fun for
all. Hope to see you there!
I know you all appreciate the hard work Dan put into getting the SSHA
website up and running and all he has done for us over the years.It
has been a huge undertaking and he is now passing this on to MaryLou.
We all want to "THANK" Dan and he has agreed to help MaryLou with any
questions she may have now or in the future.We will be offering to
link to stand alone websites and there will be a sales page, foal page
(born and next years expected ones)that will be available to paid
members. Also, The Winning Edge tack store in Ocala will give SSHA
members 10% off purchases in the store. We are thinking about gviving
a small discount to members on their entriesto our two Breed Shows.
This should make the $20 dues or the $40 dues for farm/businesses more
than pay for themselves.Please go to the web and visit the SSHA site.
We still plan to send out mailings when needed but MaryLou will post a
calendar,group news,farm news,inspection news etc. on the site so you
can go there when you need info and hopefully find what you
need.Please send her anything you want posted and she will be prompt
getting it up. I want to again acknowledge all the basic work Dan did
to make this website possible and thank him and Heather for all their
time and hard work.
Remember there will not be a June or July meeting but the third
Thursday of August at MaSu's will be an important meeting as we will
be discussing and asking for workers,input and help for our September
shows.We are trying to organize a foaling around tour. MaSu and Judy
Yancey have volunteered so far. Hope to see you all soon! Candy
