Hey Jeanne,
Jos always said 3 weeks, 3 months, 3 years is when you look at and assess your youngsters and to try not to pay attention to what happens between those times.  Personally, I have known many late developers to be ugly ducklings up to about four or five years and then somehow they grow together and become beautiful.  I think that is especially true if they are large in size.  If he was a beautiful baby, and he was, he will be again.  I have put my Arabian mare on Spiller's Youngstock.  It is the first time I have used it so we will see how it works.  I will keep you posted.  Tracy
