Dave,
I was waiting until I was sure that we'd settled into Coan before asking the Rick to change their website. Even though we've been knocked off the field occasionally when other activities are there, I feel comfortable listing the Middle School as our "official" meeting site, and I'll contact Rick. I know there are a few people who prefer other options - for various reasons - but I think this is the best option for continued success of the game. As always, I'm open to intelligent discussion on the matter.
Thanks for continuing to support Sunday pick-up ultimate. I look forward to more play.
J.R.

J.R.,I recommend notifying AFDC so that I change can be made to their web site. Their website currently has the pickup game being at Columbia Seminary.Dave

P.S., I intended to send this last night, but for some reason it didn't go. I went by the field yesterday (Sunday) at about the same time we'd be playing.----- Original Message -----From: J.R. I'm in favor also. In fact, I went to a party on Saturday night where I had already started the ball rolling on that same idea. I've had pretty good response both on and off the list, and think we should have a pretty good turn out.FYI, I went by Renfroe around 5:30 today, and the field was wide open. Given that it was beautiful today, I don't think we'll have much competition (and, as I said earlier, a Decatur High teacher is working on officially reserving the field anyway.)For those wondering, Renfroe Middle School is at 220 College Avenue in Decatur. (http://www.mapquest.com/maps/ It's about 3 blocks south and 1 block west of the Old Courthouse in downtown Decatur. There's a parking lot out front, but yesterday the gate off King's Highway (a small street on the west side of the school) was open to much closer parking to the field.Renfroe+Middle+ School:Decatur+ GA+30030/ #a/search/ l:::Decatur: GA:30030: US:33.7722: -84.2934: zip:Dekalb+ County/m: :13:33.770518: -84296251: 0::/so:Renfroe+ Middle+School: ::d::25:: :::/e Also, next Sunday is Mother's day. Take care of your Mom early so you can play later.----- Original Message -----From: jere sSent: Sunday, May 04, 2008 8:59 PMSubject: Re: [sundayulti] Re: Since Columbia's closed why not Renfroe for Sunday pick-up?
