Yes, we were out there, but there weren't very many - if any - of us until after you sent your email. We probably didn't start play until about 5:40 or later.
Typical to our sport, our game runs a bit on "ultimate time." That is, things tend to happen a bit later than scheduled. Traditionally, we've announced a start of "4:30 or 5:00" during the summer, and that's how I have it listed on the front page of this yahoo group. (Someone replied in the forum earlier this summer that we were going at 5:30, but that's a later start time than I like to announce. For now, Rick has it listed as 4:30 on the front of the AFDC page, so I try to keep that in mind). Invariably, there's a bit of time creep as we get into the heat of the summer, and this necessarily isn't a bad thing. 4:30 pm in July is still pretty warm, and there's still 3+ hours of daylight: more than enough for our needs. Generally, the start time "creeps back" as we get into fall and people get busier, and at the change to back from Daylight Saving Time, we generally are close to to a "3:30 sharp" time, in order get the game in before dark.
Things may have gotten alot more pronounced this year owing to our bouncing around on locations. I'm assuming that things will settle in soon, and that we'll be a little more "findable" going forward.
