Civic Perception WAS: Who's going to Ft. Myers?

I did notice your screen name, but I didn't want to assume anything.

So, you replied to the easy question. But what about the tougher
issue of PERCEPTION and FWD car turnout? What do you think?

I understand that you don't want to put money into your old commuter
car. But if you really think a Civic (or any other FWD car) has an
above average chance at being a front runner in SM, why are you
looking to buy a Z28?

It would be a more compelling argument if the people who advocate a
FWD car for SM actual drove one in competition rather than, for
example, a Camaro or an AWD factory turbo car...

It has been suggested that a fully prepped Civic is the "yardstick"
used to measure performance in SM. If true, does a perception
problem currently exist in SM that is reducing participation by the
FWD crowd?

What do you think SM?

Cheers,
Henry
