Price: $20,000 USD You can't duplicate this car for less than 3 times
that.
For $22,000 USD I'll include the trailer (open trailer with tire rack)
Known Issues:
1) The Bosch LSU Wideband O2 sensor has reached it's useful life
running leaded fuel, and will need to be replaced (it's a little flaky)
2) Some local miscreant decided he wanted to see the inside of the
car, and broke the passenger side window in. It will need to be replaced.
3) The Quaife LSD is only good for a set number of launch-control
launches before it goes BANG! If it is regularly checked, Quaife will
replace it free if it shows cracking - this amounts to pulling the
centre diff out every season and sending it to Quaife to be replaced,
and never doing more than 80 full launches on the trans. It has 36
launches on the current diff, and it would be worthwhile to have it
inspected. Avoid the launch control on sticky concrete, and you should
(knock wood) never have any problems - or replace the Quaife with a
different unit and forgetaboutit.
Other than that, it has been a dead-nuts reliable car, and has proven
to be more robust than many a Street Prepared car. And it is a
complete rocket ship; there still is no car in the sport that is
faster off the line.
Somebody buy my baby and give it a good home. I'm done.
