Yes, flaring the rear of my 1968 Datsun 510. May not be small enough
or shitty enough of an SM car to satisfy Chris Ramey, but it'll be my
stab at a SM car. Unfortunately the rear doors terminate directly
above the rear wheel centerline, making bigger wheels/tires hard to do
wihout the door getting in the way.
As to your other question, depleted uranium subframe connectors and
concrete subwoofer enclosures aside, SM rules state ballast has to go
in the trunk or spare tire well, so that's where mine will be going.
As it turns out this is a pretty good place, at least in my car. In
its final state the car should have a ~58% rear weight distribution in
SM trim @2400lbs., and I can pull out the 5+ pieces and have ~53% rear
if I want to run SM2 @2150.
