sorry, i am a little late to the party, as my yahoo
account was frozen.... :-P
first let me say that being a fwd guy, i would love to
see a fwd sm class.
when i run against the top m3's, and now daddio in his
"not as prepared as it could be" evo, i start feel like
this is a ever losing battle. BUT, evident by this past
weekend in peru, when i run against similiar machinery i
feel i have a shot. that the past 6 years worth of
development (both the car and myself) has not been wasted.
in peru had a bad day on saturday, but an excellent day on
sunday, but i walked away thinking "if i had only driven
better, i woulda got them....". i rarely think that when
it comes to the rally cars and m3's. i see on the local
level the rally cars getting super fast, with shitty point
and shit drivers.
i will continue to compete in in SM, even if SMF does
not become a reality. BUT, it would be awesome to have a
class where i don't have to worry about someone with a car
that can update/backdate to a very very low single year
production ultra light version with aluminum doors...
