I wanted to wait to break this news until today as I wanted to make
sure everyone had a chance to hear it from someone close to them & I
know there were a few people that wanted to break the news to someone
before they just found out by word of mouth or anything…

For those who don't already know, early yesterday morning
Roland "Rollin' Hard" Montgomery passed away after a 3 year battle
with cancer & I'm sure he fought it until he no longer could. For
those who did not know him, he was a great guy & was willing to help
out anyone he could along the way. I'm sure there is so much more
that could be said & I'm sure everyone has there own story to tell of
how they remember him. Please be sure to go by his myspace profile &
leave a comment of condolence
(www.myspace.com/foodstampchamprollinhard). He will be greatly missed…

"In my heart is where I'll keep you friend, until I see you on the
other side…"

Below I have included the obituary from The Courier Journal:

MONTGOMEY, ROLAND L. "ROLLIN' HARD," 34, of Louisville, passed away
Friday, December 26, 2008 at his home, after a three year courageous
battle with colon cancer with his loving wife, family and friends by
his side. He was a professional wrestler for 12 years. The family
would like to thank Dr. Kapur and Dr. Raghavan and the staff of Sts.
Mary & Elizabeth Hospital for all of their love and care. Roland will
greatly miss his nurses and aides on 3A. You all took great care of
him. Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Angela Saylor
Montgomery; his children, Autumn Marie and Justus Tyler Montgomery;
his parents, Leonard and Linda Montgomery; his parents-in-law, Bill
and Debbie Cowsert and Jackie and Sharon Saylor; and lots of other
family and friends. Funeral service will be noon Tuesday at Owen
Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with entombment to follow.
Visitation will be 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Expressions of
sympathy may be made to the family c/o the funeral home. Condolences
to www.owenfuneralhome.com
