Muttiah Muralitharan – The Lankan spin wizard
At the start of the three-match Test series between Bangladesh and Sri
Lanka, Muttiah Muralitharan needed 26 wickets to become only the
second bowler after Shane Warne to take 700 Test wickets. The series
went true to form as the Bangladeshis were whipped in all the Tests
and the Lankans took the series 3-0 at home.
