After Gavaskar pointing out in public, that though aussies were(and
still are) the world champions, and have the best players, they are not
good on the field, intolerant, and sledge too often.

Ponting in the captain's press conference stated, sarcastically, that
Gavaskar was 'Mr. Perfect', making every one remember his 60-over 36*
against Australia at MCG in 1981. He even said that 'Gavaskar was
instrumental in winning the three out of 12 tests for India in 2006,
being one of the top selectors of the national side'.
