Hello all,

I am experienced SOM board gamer looking for a computer league. I've
been a board gamer since 1978, so I am quite experienced with the game
itself.

I've played in computer leagues some time ago, but have not in recent
years. I have played in APBA/Computer leagues, but found them wanting
in a number of areas. I started some pickup weekend "tournements" with
a couple of friends, and I'm hooked on Strat again.

My favorite (or at least most memorable) SOM story is going 4-20 with
the 1961 Yankees in a stock league. We played short seasons, with no
regard to fatigue other than pitcher rest. The short of it was, once
they found out how much the team struggled against lefties, I was
doomed! IIRC, I had a 14 or 16 game losing streak at one point.

If you have an opening in a current season league, I'd be very
interested to hear about your league and your opening.
